Currently flights can be purchased from the United States directly to Roatan via Continental Airlines or Delta Airlines. Flights to Roatan only run on either Saturday or Sunday.

Flights to San Pedro Sula, Honduras (on the Mainland) can be purchased through Continental Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Airlines, or Taca. Flights to San Pedro Sula run throughout the week. If this route is purchased, a flight from San Pedro Sula to Roatan must be purchased from the airport in San Pedro Sula.

Beginning June 28, 2007, $6.00 U.S. must be paid by anyone entering the Bay Islands via air, from any foreign country. A fee of $1.00 U.S. must be paid by anyone entering the Bay Islands via air or sea by means of domestic transportation.

An exit fee of $32.42 must be payed upon exiting Honduras.
